There is no word greater than "impossible," to describe the anomaly I was fortunate enough to be a part of. If only for a little while, I was friends with a super hero.

From a fan, to a legend, you will be deeply missed.

Hey everyone,

As you may or may not have already noticed, I've been making several much needed updates and improvements to the site. To the right you'll see, well immediately to the right you'll see Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor from the award winning Telenovela Home Improvement. Further to the right however, you'll see a list of newly designed icons under a rather dashing oil painting of my Great Grand Grumpins Ricardo Bjorn Waterman III.

New icons include:
  • Chat - Now you can contact me right away with the click of a button, just like Batman. Although unlike Batman I will probably respond without thousands of dollars worth of property damage.
  • The88Café - This is a new site that I've been working on to house some of our finest live action works.
  • Almost Everything - BryanWaterman.com is now the new home of the hit video podcast Almost Everything. Get familiar because the show is returning as a weekly audio podcast this March!
  • Waterman - Now you can experience the wonder of my award winning animated series Waterman in one easy to find location.
  • Goodie Two Sleeves - Support my dear friend Gabe's over luxurious lifestyle by purchasing something from his store.
I've also added more pieces to the Artwork section of the site as well as given all images on the site the ability to enlarge upon being clicked. I'll be adding a lot more artwork and making updates to the blog in the coming weeks so be sure to check back regularly!

We heard from a lot of the other teams that they thought we were robbed and that they were pulling for us to go all the way. As far as I'm concerned, last night it was made abundantly clear that "The Lemonade Stand" was the film that "the people" were cheering for and that means a lot to us!

As some of you may or may not know, one of my biggest accomplishments has been the creation of the online animated series "Waterman". Today, it is with both sadness and unbridled joy that I find one of my fictional creations crossing over into the real world.

In the seventh installment of the "Waterman" series, a new product hits the market called Bacones. Essentially what this product is, is a scoop of bacon flavored ice cream, in cone of bacon. Unfortunately, here in the real world, we are far too busy curing disease and shooting Tyler Perry movies to invent bacon flavored ice cream. That said, we all know that the best part about the Bacone is the cone itself and the people over at ThisIsWhyYourFat.com strongly agree!

Thank YOU America, for being the only country to legally allow this delicious abomination to even exist! Here we have a Bacone filled with scrambled eggs and country gravy, topped with a biscuit. I can feel the grease, sweat, and shame, trickling down past my bacon flavored tears into the toilet now!

The 48 Hour Film Project is a sleepless weekend in which teams make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

On Friday May 1st, teams will receive a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in their movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will show at a local theater, usually in the next week.

This this will be my fourth year taking part in the competition as one of the founding members of Danny Glover's Super Action Adventure Force Brigade Squad. Why is that the name of our team? I already owned DannyGloversSuperActionAdventureForceBrigadeSquad.com.

During this years competition, I'm going to try to update the site with all kinds of behind the scenes video. This will also be one of the first places to see this year's finished short film online, so be sure to check back!

"The Road: A Documentary On The Road" (above) was created for the 2007 48 Hour Film Project. It won the Audience Award and was chosen for "The Best Of All Time" screening in 2008.

"Null & Void" (above) was created for the 2008 48 Hour Film Project. It won the Audience Award.

Enjoy,
Bryan Waterman
